The fifth annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes—Wasatch Back is a silly way of bringing awareness to a serious and often deadly issue—domestic violence. One in three Utah women can expect to experience domestic abuse in her lifetime. Help us break the cycle of violence by bringing awareness to this brutal issue.
The walk will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, at the City Park bandstand in Park City. We’ll walk a mile together, up the Poison Creek Trail to Park City’s Historic Main Street. The route takes us through the Park Silly Sunday Market and back to the bandstand. We are also recruiting volunteer Blister Sisters to give support to those walking in high heels.
Join the fun and help us get the word out: Domestic violence hurts everyone in the community.
