Season of Healing

At Peace House, we know that healing is not one-size-fits-all. For some, it’s rebuilding a sense of safety. For others, it’s reclaiming independence, reconnecting with family, or rediscovering joy.

Your generosity makes these journeys possible. Give the gift of healing this holiday season.

Donate today.

Peace House is dedicated to ending interpersonal violence and abuse and empowering survivors to heal and thrive by providing support services, safe housing, and prevention education.

1,759 Individuals received support and resources from our helpline last year alone. Help us continue to reach those in need of support.

Summit County Mental Health Community Survey

Your voice matters! Peace House is partnering with Summit County Health Department, Park City Community Foundation and Katz Amsterdam Foundation for our Mental Health Community Survey. This survey is anonymous and is for everyone who lives and works in Summit County. For those who work in the county please select the zip code where you work when completing the survey. Results from this survey will help shape programs and services in our community.

Previous survey responses have lead to the establishment of a mobile crisis unit, an increase number in Spanish speaking clinicians, and increasing access to services in Summit County. The survey is in English and Spanish and is completely anonymous.

Holiday Self-Care Group

Peace House is offering a series of holiday-focused self-care workshops aimed at supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization will host four gatherings, with sessions centered on grief and setting boundaries during the holidays.

Our associate director Katherine Aguilera shares that the series grew out of the need to provide grounding, support and community during the holiday season, which is often portrayed as joyful but, for many survivors, can bring “heightened grief, stress, safety concerns and complicated family dynamics,” she said.

“These workshops directly reflect Peace House’s core purpose of safety, healing and hope,” she said. “We hope attendees leave with a felt sense of community and the understanding that they are not alone, along with the validation that holiday related stress, grief and post-traumatic symptoms are common and shared among survivors.”
