Domestic Violence Awareness Month (#DVAM) is a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence. Every October, organizations and individuals unite across the country for a national effort to uplift the needs, voices, and experiences of survivors. Congress declared the month of October to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 1989.

For DVAM 2025, we are working with our Prevention Education team to share more about how we support survivor safety. Stay tuned for community events, how you can get involved, and more this October!

Double the Love, Double the Impact

This year, your generosity can be multiplied! Join us by making a matching donation to Peace House's Live PC Give PC campaign and help survivors receive twice the support.

Peace House is dedicated to ending interpersonal violence and abuse and empowering survivors to heal and thrive by providing support services, safe housing, and prevention education.

1,759 Individuals received support and resources from our helpline last year alone. Help us continue to reach those in need of support.

Our Evening of Giving was a truly beautiful gathering of support, hope, and love. Thank you to all who braved the (literal) storm to participate, and to those who have helped ensure we can continue our mission. This has been an amazing 30 years, and we are so fortunate to celebrate with you.
