Virtual Candlelight Vigil

The annual Candlelight Vigil will be held Thursday, October 22 @ 6:00-7:00pm. Peace House will virtually join with Summit County Domestic Violence Coalition and Wasatch Domestic Violence Coalition to recognize Utah lives lost to domestic violence and the work being done in our state to counter the trend of domestic violence homicides. This event will feature Representative Sandra Hollins of District 23 whose professional training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has influenced legislative work by sitting on the Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee, House Health and Human Service Committee, Child Welfare Legislative Oversight panel among other committees and House Bills.  Former Executive Director of the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition, Jenn Oxborrow, will reflect on the legislative trends and changes in the domestic violence movement over the past 5 years.
