Be the Light – March on Main

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month or DVAM.

This year, join Peace House in recognizing and supporting both survivors and those who have lost their lives to interpersonal violence.

According to the National Resource Center on domestic violence, the purple candle represents a personal commitment to fostering respectful relationships; a unified stance that domestic violence is not acceptable, and hope that together we are “Lighting the Way” for survivors.
