Beg, borrow or go shopping yourself for a pair of high heels, and put yourself in her shoes. Get your FREE TICKETS HERE.
Come join us for the 5th annual Peace House Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is a worldwide movement raising funds and awareness to help stop violence against women. In an effort to raise attention to the cause, men will wear women’s high-heeled shoes (costumes are also enthusiastically encouraged) while walking one mile in Historic Park City.
Join as an individual or bring all your friends as a team and compete for fun awards. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Limited quantities of women’s shoes available, bring your own if possible. Register online or day of the event at starting at 10:30am
The walk will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, at the City Park bandstand in Park City. We’ll walk a mile together, up the Poison Creek Trail to Park City’s Historic Main Street. The route takes us through the Park Silly Sunday Market and back to the bandstand. We are also recruiting volunteer Blister Sisters to give support to those walking in high heels.
Join the fun and help us get the word out: Domestic violence hurts everyone in the community.
