February Newsletter
At Peace House, we are committed to supporting teens in building safe relationships and providing resources for those who may be experiencing violence. Throughout this month, we are engaging in various efforts to amplify this important conversation and take meaningful action.
We are also excited to announce our spring luncheon, this year titled "One Voice, Many Lives" in March, which will be a powerful opportunity for the community to come together, share experiences, and learn from experts in the field. This event will feature Leah Moses —a mother, midwife, and fierce advocate who turned personal tragedy into powerful change. After losing her son, Om, to domestic violence filicide, Leah fought to pass Om’s Law, ensuring no parent has to endure the same heartbreak. We would love for you to join us in learning more about the importance of coming together to end interpersonal violence not only for our youth, but for everyone.
Together, we can create a future where all young people are empowered to have healthy, safe, and loving relationships.
Thank you for your continued support.

Leah Moses, CNM
Join us for the Peace House Spring Luncheon and hear the unforgettable story of Leah Moses—a mother, midwife, and fierce advocate who turned personal tragedy into powerful change. After losing her son, Om, to domestic violence filicide, Leah fought to pass Om’s Law, ensuring no parent has to endure the same heartbreak. Her tireless advocacy has taken her from Utah’s state legislature to the White House, where she continues to champion policies that protect survivors and their children. Leah’s story is a call to action—one that will leave you inspired to stand with survivors, support life-saving services, and help create a safer future for families in our community. Reserve your table, become a sponsor, and be part of this movement for change.
We are honored to recognize Polly Strasser, longtime Development Committee Chair, for her unwavering dedication to Peace House and the survivors we serve.
This year, we have a matching grant from both Cheri and Scott Beck AND Marriott Daughters Foundation for a total of $50,000 in matching funds. Please help us make this match by making your donation today!
