Leisa Mukai Memorial

On Sunday, October 9th, following the Domestic Violence Awareness “Be the Light” march on Main Street, we will be gathering at Kimball Terrace to remember our friend and colleague Leisa Mukai. Leisa worked as the Prevention Education Director at Peace House for nearly 5 years leaving in January 2022 to join her husband in Mexico as the Innkeepers for their micro-resort Acocote Inn. Sadly, she died due to injuries in a car accident at the end of April.
