Julie Joyce

Julie is a retired IBM executive with 20 years of experience in the computer software industry, most recently as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at a small start-up firm in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. She has managed all aspects of software development, strategic planning, marketing, and business development.

Julie also has extensive involvement with nonprofit organizations. She has served as a volunteer with Peace House since 2013 and as a board member since 2017. In addition, she has volunteered with and served on boards of directors of several nonprofit organizations in Summit County, including Friends of Animals. Julie also acted as Production Manager for the gymnastics venue competitions for the 1999 Special Olympics World Summer Games in North Carolina.

Originally from Michigan, Julie graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a BS in Computer Science. While working at IBM, Julie completed a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Julie and her husband Steve moved to Park City in 2004 from North Carolina. They enjoy skiing, hiking, golfing, and traveling.
